Trashed x Twyford C of E School

Each pupil brought in their own pair of sports shoes to work on throughout the day.

After receiving our pair of Nikes, we invited Twyford C of E high school in Ealing and their art department to work with us on the project. 13 pupils from year 9 and 10 took part in the one-day workshop with Trashed and the NIKE78 team. Art teacher Mr Dyer co-ordinated the workshop as the pupils looked to use sport as inspiration to challenge the function of sport shoes. Each pupil brought in their own pair of sports shoes to work on throughout the day with 'table tennis spring trainers', 'flipper shoes with propeller and jets' and even a 'Wimbledon centre court trainer' as just a few of the exciting ideas created during the workshop.

Many thanks to Mr. Dyer, Karl, Coral, Abirah, Michelle, Natasha, Louis, Edward, Nathaniel, Heather, Daniel, Charlie, Omar and Keyleigh for taking part in the project.
