Adam Hayes - Abdullah's Shoes
I decided to swap them with someone who really needed them.
On being given a pair of shiny, clean, new Nike trainers I thought of numerous different ways to either destroy them or make them unwearable in some manner. Partly not really having a good idea and partly not wanting to see these shoes go to waste, I decided to swap them with someone who really needed them. Assisted by volunteers at a day centre for asylum seekers and refugees in South London, I was able to swap the shoes with someone who both needed them and had size 8's. The swapped shoes by pure coincidence are also white Nike's. Many thanks to Pauline, Nicky and Bettina for making this project happen.
